I loved staying at Meadowlark Motel! The location right on Jonathan Creek made for peaceful mornings with lovely views. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made me feel at home right away. I enjoyed the fire pit area in the evenings and appreciated the cute retro microwave and fridge in my room. Bed was comfortable enough, but the sound insulation wasn't great. I could hear neighbors quite clearly. The breakfast was basic, nothing too fancy, but it worked for my needs. On the downside, my room had some cleanliness issues, such as the floor not being properly cleaned. The heating unit looked outdated too. A little more attention to these details could really improve the experience. Overall, I had a good time and would consider returning for the charm and location.

This place has its retro charm, with clean rooms and friendly staff making my stay enjoyable. The surrounding area by the creek is beautiful, though the room could have been better equipped, with more updated amenities. Bathroom issues were a slight inconvenience, yet the BBQ dinner and overall atmosphere made up for it.

The location is really nice with lots of grass and trees by the creek. Room had air conditioning, a microwave, and a refrigerator, so all the basics were covered. Conveniently located close to shops, the room was spacious and immaculately clean. I loved the retro fridge and microwave, which added a nice touch to the comfort of our stay. The fire pit by the cute stream created a lovely ambiance for relaxation, and the staff were incredibly friendly. However, the absence of a standard breakfast bar and limited on-site amenities could be improved for guests looking for more options.

Had an awesome group vacation with friends! We enjoyed some fantastic live bluegrass and country music at The Stompin' Ground and checked out great food and fun at local spots. The outdoor firepits were perfect for chilling at night, and the vibe was welcoming. Bringing in some local talent for intimate concerts was a highlight!
I did have trouble getting in touch to book our stay. It took several calls before I could secure our reservation, which felt frustrating. I hope they improve their phone service for future guests.

We had a great time enjoying the beautiful grounds, especially by the stream. Our teens loved the open areas and firepit for family time. We also appreciated the spacious and clean room, making our stay very comfortable.
My wife says that the breakfast options could use some local flavor, as it was very basic. It would be great to have more variety for families with kids.

Room maintenance needs attention. the doors didn’t seal well, and I noticed a gap which could let bugs in. Bedding firmness might not satisfy everyone’s taste, as the beds and pillows felt quite hard.
